麦珂教授现任中欧国际工商学院组织行为学副教授。在加入中欧之前,他曾以管理学助理教授之职先后任教于韩国成均馆大学商学研究院以及新加坡国立大学商学院。麦教授在亚利桑那大学获得了管理学博士学位,在罗格斯大学获得了人力资源管理学硕士学位,并在南京大学获得了大众新闻传播学士学位。
麦珂教授从事的研究主要关注工作中的范式偏离行为。他的研究集中在研究员工创造力以及员工不端行为和不道德行为两个大方向。这两者都是关键的范式偏离行为—— 一个挑战常识的正向偏离,另一个背离道德规范的负向偏离。他的研究运用心理过程、社会认知以及判断和决策理论来研究这两个关注员工个人和组织生活的重要领域。同时,他还研究其他工作场景中的新的范式的行程已经对于员工创新和不道德行为的影响。他的最新的研究也着重关注和人工智能合作如何影响创新和道德行为。
麦教授的研究成果多次发表在世界顶尖期刊上,包括《自然杂志精神健康》、《应用心理学期刊》、《组织行为与人类决策过程期刊》、《员工心理学期刊》、《管理学研究期刊》和《实验社会心理学期刊》等。麦珂教授于2016年被新加坡商业评论选为 “40岁以下的18位有影响力的商学教授”之一。在2021年,他还被组织行为学顶刊《应用心理学杂志》的编辑委员会选为年度最佳期刊审稿人。此奖项是非常有难度获得的奖项,需要在全球800多名审稿人中评选而出。同年,他还被评选获得新加坡国立大学人文科学研究研究奖。麦博士目前担任《应用心理学期刊》、《人力资源心理学期刊》、《商业心理学期刊》的编辑委员会成员。他的研究也受到了CNNMoney、财富杂志、赫芬顿邮报、彭博商业周刊、南华早报和今日心理学等各种媒体的报道和专访。
麦教授讲授包括MBA, FMBA, EMBA和PhD在内的不同学生的多个课程,包括组织行为学,领导力,团队合作,商业道德,创造力与人力资源分析等课程。他曾连续两年荣获新加坡国立大学商学院教育卓越奖以及美国亚利桑那大学管理学院优秀教学奖。
